CanCham Malaysia was pleased to support the Canadian Seafood Mission at Le Cordon Bleu Malaysia (Sunway), bringing together Canadian seafood companies, Malaysian businesses and industry representatives for a day of market insights, knowledge sharing and meaningful B2B connections. From discussions on Malaysian business culture and market opportunities to one-on-one B2B meetings and a live seafood tasting demonstration, the event created opportunities for Canadian and Malaysian businesses to connect and explore potential collaborations.

May 17 to 31: Concordia University Field School visit
Mechanical engineering students from Montreal, Canada’s Concordia University traveled to Malaysia in May as part of the institution’s Malaysia Field School designed to help them explore the future of safety engineering by combining proven system safety methods with cutting-edge AI technologies in an aerospace engineering environment. The trip combined lectures provided by local UniKL faculty with site visits to aerospace firms and city tours.
