Nancy Fortner, Managing Director of Fortner Consulting, has more than twenty-five years of Global Organizational Development and Human Resources experience.
Prior to Fortner Consulting, Nancy held the position of Director of Human Resources at Bridge Information Systems, Toronto, responsible for Canada and Latin America and served on the Board of Directors. Previous to Bridge, Nancy held senior management positions with Dow Jones and Reuters.
Nancy has consulted and trained globally on Organizational Development and Human Resources in the areas of Strategy, Performance Management, Change Management, Organizational Restructuring, Mergers & Acquisitions, Succession Planning and Leadership Assessment and Development across a wide spectrum of industries. She is also an invited speaker at various global conferences and professional events.
Nancy obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Western University, Ontario, Canada and her CHRL (Certified Human Resources Leader) designation in Toronto, Canada.
Nancy is a member of Human Resources Professionals Association (Canada), Society for Human Resource Management and The Human Capital Institute (USA).
In 2014, Nancy received the Strategic Leadership Award from the World HRD Congress at the Global HR Excellence Awards in Mumbai.
Nancy is also an Associate of the Melbourne Business School.
