Profile :

Jim has been a CanCham Malaysia Governor since 2012. He has been the Co-Founder and Director of Well Experts Services Sdn Bhd since 2014. Prior to 2014, Jim held operational management roles in Talisman Energy Ltd for 20 years in Alberta, Indonesia, Aberdeen, Stavanger and Kuala Lumpur. He was VP of Operations and Development from 2007 to 2014, and managed the PM3 CAA cross border assets between Malaysia and Vietnam. Prior to his employment with Talisman, Jim was a petroleum engineer for BP Exploration in Canada and the UK. He is a Professional Engineer registered with APEGA for over 35 years. Jim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
