On June 20th, InvestKL and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia – CanCham Malaysia co-hosted a roundtable networking reception at the Ontario Investment and Trade Centre (OITC). This event is held in conjunction with the Collision Conf, which takes place from June 17 to 20 at the Enercare Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Mr. Jim Tarlton, Vice President of CanCham Malaysia, and Mr. Henry Lee Leong Bee, Malaysia’s Honorary Consul General in Toronto, kindly welcomed and opened the event for the attendees.

With the title ‘Greater Kuala Lumpur, Gateway to ASEAN’, Ms. Vivian Sia, Director of Americas from InvestKL, discussed the investment landscape in Malaysia and how InvestKL can help facilitate high-quality, sustainable investments into Greater Kuala Lumpur.

Mr. George Monize, Managing Director, Head of Indo-Pacific at Export Development Canada – Exportation et développement Canada (EDC), and Mr. Ryan (Zhe Hong) Lau, Relationship Manager, Commercial Financial Services at Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), presented on how each organisation can bring their best solutions, services, and advice to help Canadian businesses of all sizes, industries, and sectors succeed in global markets.
