Hans G. Bathija is the President of BathijaTan, strategy & risk consulting firm. He is also a Partner in Shadow Factory, a digital media agency specialising in immersive content creation, and is the Co-Founder of Polka Dot Beaver, a branding and design agency. He serves as the Vice Chair of St John Ambulance Toronto Branch, the Honorary Clerk of The Honourable Company of Freemen of the City of London of North America & is the Founder and Chairman of the International Intellectual Property Commercialization Council GTA Chapter. He is a board director with the Malaysian Association of Canada, a member of the British Malaysian Society, a member of the State Chinese Penang Association, and is a life member of Penang Heritage Trust.

He was born in Hampstead, England and is a graduate of Glendon College, York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is a Fellow of the British Computer Society, the Royal Society of Arts, and the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain & Ireland.
