Teknion is a world leading international designer, manufacturer and marketer of office systems and related office furniture products. Teknion Furniture Systems (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd., is a member of Toronto-based Teknion Corporation, listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE) under the symbol TKN.

Teknion Malaysia established its first plan in Tangkak Johor in 1995, with 16 employees producing components for our T/O/S line office furniture in 35,000 square feet manufacturing facility.

In 1999, Teknion Malaysia acquired a leading Malaysia manufacturer of filing, storage and seating products inclusive of a 180,000 square feet facility in Klang which significantly leveraged Teknion's manufacturing capabilies in Asia, the Middle East and India.

In 2001, Teknion Malaysia further enhanced manufacturing capabilities by extensively upgrading our Klang facility and aquired a 54,000 square feet warehouse and distribution centre in Klang.

The Teknion Malaysia growth is the largest and most dynamic expansion in the history of Teknion Corporation and is seen as the fulcrum, in Teknion's global market branding and development.

In August 2005, another chapter in Teknion's international history takes wing with the opening of our Bangalore showroom - enabling Teknion, to serve one of the fastest growing markets in the world, the Indian sub-continent.
