Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad is a progressive and well-established public listed Company with a diversified group of businesses in plantations, property investment and development, credit financing, automotive, trading, building materials and stone quarries.

Formerly known as The East Asiatic Company (Malaysia) Berhad, this company was listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (now known as Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad) in August 1978 and was acquired on 7 August 1995 by the Malaysian Mosaics Berhad Group.

Malaysian Mosaics Berhad was the parent company, owning 52.99% of Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad, until its stake was disbursed on 11 August 2006 to Gek Poh (Holdings) Sdn Bhd, which is the main shareholder of Malaysian Mosaics Berhad. Malaysian Mosaics Berhad wholly owns MML Marketing Sdn Bhd and is a manufacturer and distributor of homogeneous porcelain tiles, mosaics and ceramic tiles.
