MCBC 14th Annual Maple Leaf Golf Tournament was held on October 27, 2011 at Staffield Country Resort, Mantin, Negeri Sembilan with 60 participants. A great time was had by all with Hole #8 - Beat the Pro, where over RM1,000 was raised for charity.
High Commissioner's Trophies were awarded to the top 3 male and top 1 female players by His Excellency Randolph Mank, Canadian High Commissioner to Malaysia. Prizes were also awarded to players at the Novelty Holes. Congratulations to Ron Aston (Nearest to the Pin), Paula Johnstone (Nearest to the Line) and Patrick Tan( Longest Drive) for showing us their prowess.
Our lucky draw prizes were the highlight of the tournament, enabling all participants to win at least one prize. All players were also entitled to win one of the Top 7 Gold Prizes drawn from the player score cards. The gold prizes this year were outstanding with our top prize being a 4 days and 3 nights to Phuket and Krabi Package for Two persons on the Star Cruises Libra worth RM4,000 sponsored Tradewinds Travel Services Sdn. Bhd. And won by Dato’ Capt. Nawawi Awang.
