Founded in 1979, JB Pharmacy Group Sdn Bhd started business by marketing traditional medicines, over the counter products and food products. The companies mission, to become a reliable health care provider as well as to help solve consumers’ problem of preparing traditional medicines, resulted in JB Pharmacy establishing its own factory. To further improve and continuously upgrade their products, the company has created their own microbe and research laboratories. Using natural plants as raw material, adopting the combination of internationally advanced supercritical CO2 extraction and organic solvents, the Company uses the latest high technology equipment to produce medicines prepared from various types of herbs. The R&D facility has an team of highly qualified chemists, together with production facilities for processing all types of formulation; a research apparatus and an in house library, To ensure the highest standard of quality, an elaborate system of control is implemented, beginning with the scrutiny of raw materials (herbs and chemicals) right down to the final inspection of finished products before being packed for distribution.
